Gum Treatment

Treatment of Gum Disease

There are both surgical and non-surgical options for patients seeking to improve the health of their gums. Your gums will be taken care of with the least invasive and most cost-effective methods possible. Most procedures will begin with non-surgical gum treatments that consist of scaling and root planning (Deep Cleaning). You will then receive therapy in the form of antimicrobial treatments to reduce bacterial toxins in your gums.

When surgery may be required

If you have gum disease, pain, infection, swelling, sores, and receding gum's, these are signs that you may need surgery. Gum surgery is only needed when we determine that the tissue around your teeth is not healthy and not able to be restored with non-surgical treatment.
